No. There is no official PUBG MOBILE LIGHT APK right now. The game has not been released so no APK file exists yet. The only real thing you can do today is pre-register on Google Play or the App Store.

This matters because search interest is already very high. Some websites have started uploading files with the name “PUBG MOBILE LIGHT APK” to catch that traffic. Those files are not the game. They are usually one of three things:

• An old PUBG MOBILE or PUBG MOBILE LITE build with the name changed

KRAFTON has confirmed a November 2026 release window. The exact day has not been announced.

Two extra details are worth knowing. Some reports point to the middle of the month. A few regional App Store listings have also shown 12 November 2026 as an expected date. Neither of those is confirmed by KRAFTON. The official pre-registration page still says only November. So treat 12 November as a strong hint and not a promise. We will change this section the moment KRAFTON names a day.

PUBG MOBILE LIGHT Pre-Registration and Rewards

Pre-registration is open right now. It is free and it takes about ten seconds. It also does two useful things for you.

First, your app store sends you a notification the moment the game goes live. You do not need to check every day. Second, KRAFTON is giving pre-registration rewards to players who sign up before launch. The official pre-registration page lists both in-game rewards and out-of-game rewards. The reward value can change depending on your region.

How to pre-register

1. Open the official PUBG MOBILE LIGHT pre-registration page or search “PUBG MOBILE LIGHT” in your app store.
2. Tap Pre-register on Google Play or Get on the App Store.
3. Confirm with the Google account or Apple ID that you use for PUBG MOBILE.
4. Leave it. The store installs the game automatically on release day if you allow it.

When do you get the rewards?

Rewards are delivered after the game launches. They go to the account you pre-registered with. So use your main account and not a spare one. Reward delivery on PUBG MOBILE usually happens through in-game mail so check there after your first login.

Do pre-registration rewards need a milestone?

Many KRAFTON pre-registration events unlock more rewards as the total number of sign-ups grows. The official page for PUBG MOBILE LIGHT does not publish a milestone table like that. No country list has been published. No dates have been published. There is no separate sign-up form either. Pre-registering is the only step you can take today.

Be careful with this one. Search interest in a “beta APK” is already high and that is exactly the gap that fake download pages fill. A closed beta build is locked to accounts that KRAFTON invites. It is not something you can grab from a random site and log into. So if a page offers you a PUBG MOBILE LIGHT beta APK today then it is not real.

How to Download the PUBG MOBILE LIGHT APK

You cannot download it today. There is nothing to download. Below is exactly what will happen and what you should do.

Right now (before release)

1. Pre-register using the buttons at the top of this page.
2. Free up about 2GB of storage on your phone. The install is under 1GB but you want room for updates and extra maps.
3. Make sure you know your PUBG MOBILE login. You will need it to carry your items over.
4. Bookmark this page.

On release day

1. Come back to this page. We will replace the pre-register button with the APK download. We will add the version number and the exact file size next to it.
2. Tap the download button and wait for the file to finish.
3. Open the file from your notification bar or from your Downloads folder.
4. Your phone may ask for permission to install from this source. Allow it for your browser only.
5. Tap Install and wait.
6. Open the game and log in with your existing PUBG MOBILE account so your progress and items sync.
7. Turn the “unknown sources” permission back off once you are done.

If you would rather not use an APK at all then you do not have to. The game will be on Google Play and the App Store on the same day. The APK is useful if your Play Store is slow or if the game rolls out to your region late. It is not required.

One APK file or several?

This is worth understanding before release day. Google has required every new Android app on Google Play to ship as an App Bundle since 2021. Play then builds a small set of files for your exact phone instead of one file for everybody. So what Google Play installs is not really one single APK.

Mirror sites work around this by packing those pieces into an XAPK or an APKS file. Those need a special installer and that is one more step where things go wrong.

KRAFTON has not said which way it will go for PUBG MOBILE LIGHT. It does publish plain APK files on its own sites for PUBG MOBILE and for the old LITE game so a single official APK is possible. KRAFTON has not published the minimum or recommended requirements yet. Only the storage figure is confirmed. The table below is our estimate and it is not an official list. We built it from the stated goal of the app which is lower load on weaker phones.

One thing to keep in mind. PUBG MOBILE LIGHT runs the main PUBG MOBILE game and it is not a cut-down version. So do not expect it to run on the very weak phones that the old PUBG MOBILE LITE supported. LITE was built from scratch for 1GB RAM phones. LIGHT is lighter than the full game but it is not that light.

Supported Android Devices

There is no official device list yet. Instead of guessing phone models here is a check that actually works today.

Look at how normal PUBG MOBILE runs on your phone right now. If the full game already runs at low or medium graphics then PUBG MOBILE LIGHT should run at least as well. That is the single most reliable test you can do before launch.

If storage was the reason you could not install the full game then LIGHT is built exactly for you. Install the base app first. Check your free space after that. Then decide which extra maps you want.

• Budget phones with 2GB to 3GB RAM: Should run it because this is the target audience. Expect to use lower graphics settings.
• Mid-range phones with 4GB to 6GB RAM: Should run well once the official settings are out.
• High-end phones: No problems expected. The smaller size is about storage and loading time. It is not about lower graphics quality.
• Low-storage phones: This is the biggest win. Under 1GB to install is far less than the full game needs.

To check your own phone open Settings > About Phone. You will see your RAM and your free storage there.

Also remember that “supported” and “smooth” are not the same thing. A phone can install a game and still drop frames in a fight. Older chipsets feel this the most. Once the official requirements arrive we will list them directly so you do not have to rely on general advice like this.

Performance on Low-End Android Phones

Lower device load is the reason this app exists. But KRAFTON has not released any performance test results. So treat everything below as a reasonable expectation and not a guarantee.

Storage

This is the confirmed win. Under 1GB to install is a big drop from the full game. Your total size grows as you add optional maps so keep an eye on it.

RAM usage

It should use less RAM than the full app because that is the stated goal. The exact figure is unknown.

Graphics settings

Expect settings similar to normal PUBG MOBILE. Lower resolution and lower effects should help weaker phones hold a steadier frame rate.

Heating and battery

Any 3D multiplayer game heats a phone and drains battery in long sessions. Close background apps and take breaks on hot days. This is true of every game and not just this one.

Network

A stable connection matters more than raw phone power for lag and disconnects. A weak phone on Wi-Fi often plays better than a strong phone on bad mobile data.

Our honest take. If normal PUBG MOBILE already runs fine on your phone then you do not need to switch. LIGHT is for people who are short on storage or who are tired of long update downloads. It is not an upgrade and it is not a downgrade. It is a different install size for the same game.

PUBG MOBILE LIGHT vs PUBG MOBILE LITE

These two names look almost the same and people mix them up constantly. They are not the same product. LIGHT is not a rename of LITE.

Some news sites make it worse by calling the new 2026 game “PUBG Mobile Lite” as well. Here is the simple rule. LIGHT with a G is the new global app for 2026. LITE with a T is the standalone game from 2019.

PUBG MOBILE LITE launched worldwide in July 2019 after a soft launch in the Philippines in 2018. It was its own separate game with its own account system. Matches held 60 players instead of 100 and the maps were custom built at 2km by 2km. Varenga came first and Golden Woods arrived later. The official minimum was 1GB of RAM and about 600MB of storage so it really was built for very weak phones.

LITE is still listed on Google Play and it still has its own official site at pubgmlite.com. KRAFTON has not shut it down. It has been quiet for years though and it does not get the attention the main game gets.

India is a special case. LITE did launch in India in July 2019 and it was huge there with more than 10 million downloads in the first three days. It was then banned in September 2020 along with the main game and it has never come back. So if you played LITE in India years ago that is why you cannot find it today.

PUBG MOBILE LIGHT arrived in 2026 with a completely different idea. It is not a separate game at all. It is a second app for the same PUBG MOBILE game. Same account and same maps and same matches. Only the install size is different.

So pick based on what you want. Want the real PUBG MOBILE game with a small install? That is LIGHT and you can pre-register now. Want the old lightweight standalone game? That is LITE and it is a different product with its own history.

PUBG MOBILE LIGHT and BGMI Lite for India

This part is important and most pages skip it. If you are in India then PUBG MOBILE LIGHT is not your version. India gets BGMI Lite instead.

KRAFTON India has opened BGMI Lite pre-registrations on Google Play for Indian players. It follows the same idea as PUBG MOBILE LIGHT which is a much smaller install for the same game. Your existing BGMI account and your items carry over in the same way.

The timelines are different though. PUBG MOBILE LIGHT is targeting November 2026 globally. KRAFTON India confirmed at the end of August 2026 that BGMI Lite is coming by the end of this year but it has not named a day yet.

Is PUBG MOBILE LIGHT Available in My Country?

Availability is not the same everywhere. Pre-registration is live on Google Play and the App Store in most regions. India is served by BGMI Lite as explained above. A few countries where PUBG MOBILE is restricted will not get either app.

The fastest way to check is to open your own app store and search “PUBG MOBILE LIGHT”. If the listing appears then your region is covered.

If it does not appear then wait. We are not going to tell you to use a VPN or fake your store region. It breaks the store rules and the game rules. It can also get your account locked. A rollout delay of a few weeks is not worth risking an account you have spent years on.

Six signs an APK is fake

1. The size is wrong. The real Android install is under 1GB. A 40MB file is not a battle royale game. A 3GB file is not the LIGHT version.
2. It asks for strange permissions. A game does not need SMS access or your contacts or Accessibility Services. Those requests are the biggest red flag on this list.
3. The site tells you to turn off Play Protect. No real game needs that. Any site that asks is hiding something from the scanner.
4. There is no version number. Real builds have a proper version. Fake pages just say “latest version” with nothing behind it.
5. It promises things KRAFTON never said. Unlimited UC or free skins or an “unlocked” build. These are bait and the account bans that follow are real.
6. The developer name is wrong on the store listing. A genuine listing shows KRAFTON or Level Infinite or Lightspeed Studios. Anything else is a copy.

The account risk people forget

PUBG MOBILE runs anti-cheat. It checks the client you log in from. A modified or repackaged app can trigger a ban even if you never cheated on purpose. That ban hits the account and not the app. So you can lose years of progress and every skin you paid for by installing one bad file. This is the real cost of a fake APK and it is much worse than a virus.

What we will do on release day

We will add the download to this page along with the confirmed version number and the exact file size. We will also publish the SHA-256 checksum of the file. A checksum is a fingerprint for a file. If the copy you are holding gives a different fingerprint then it is not the file we published and you should delete it. Almost no APK site bothers with this and it is the only way you can actually check a download yourself.
