This policy explains what happens to your information when you visit pubglightapk.online. We have tried to write it in plain words instead of legal language. If something here is unclear then email us and we will explain it and then fix the wording.
Who We Are
Pubg Light Apk is an independent fan site about PUBG MOBILE LIGHT and other mobile games. Our address is pubglightapk.online. We are the data controller for this site which means we decide what happens to the information described below.
We are not connected with KRAFTON or Level Infinite or Lightspeed Studios or Google or Apple. This policy covers our website only. It does not cover the games themselves or the app stores. Those companies have their own privacy policies and you should read theirs before you install anything.
What We Collect and What We Do Not

- Your device type and your screen size
- Your browser and your operating system
- Where you came from such as Google or a link on another site
- Your IP address in our server log for a short time
What we do not collect
- Your name
- Your email address unless you send us one
- Your phone number
- Your street address
- Any payment or card details
- Your PUBG MOBILE account or your game login
- Your Google account or your Apple ID
Everything in the left column is counted automatically and none of it is tied to your name. We could not put a name to it and we do not try to.
About your IP address
Your IP address deserves its own explanation because two different systems handle it differently.
Our web host sees it. Every website works this way. A server cannot send you a page without knowing where to send it. So your full IP address appears in our server log next to the time and the page you asked for. Those logs exist to keep the site online and to block attacks. We do not use them for anything else.
Our hosting company keeps those logs on our behalf and cannot use them for its own purposes. They are deleted on the schedule shown in the retention table further down this page.
Google Analytics does not see it. The current version of Analytics does not log or store IP addresses at all. Google reads the IP to work out your country and your city and then discards it. There is no IP address anywhere in our Analytics account.
One more thing that many sites get wrong and we would rather say plainly. An IP address counts as personal information under GDPR and under several other laws even though nobody can put a name to it. A cookie ID counts too. We treat both as personal information instead of calling them anonymous.
If you email us
When you send us an email we keep it so we can reply. That means we hold your email address and whatever you wrote. We use it to answer you and for nothing else. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not have one.
Why We Collect It
There are only three reasons.
- To see which pages people actually read. If a guide gets no visits then we know it is not useful and we rewrite it or remove it.
- To fix problems. Knowing that a page loads badly on a certain phone size is the only way we can fix it.
- To keep the site up. Basic traffic data shows us when something is broken or when the site is under attack.
Our legal basis is not the same for all three.
- Analytics cookies rely on your consent. European and United Kingdom law says a site has to ask before it stores an analytics cookie. Analytics is useful to us but it is not strictly necessary for the site to work. That means we cannot rely on legitimate interest for it. Where consent is required nothing loads until you choose.
- Server logs and security rely on legitimate interest. We cannot send you a page or block an attack without handling your request. There is no way to ask permission before that happens.
- Your email relies on your own choice. You wrote to us so we use your address to write back.
We are not building a profile of you and we are not making automated decisions about you.
Cookies and Your Choice
A cookie is a small text file that a website leaves on your device. Ours are used for counting visits and for keeping the site working.
Where the law in your country requires it we ask you before we set anything. A banner appears on your first visit and Analytics stays switched off until you answer it. You can say no and still read every page. Nothing on this site is locked behind a cookie.
You can change your mind whenever you like. Clear the cookies for this site in your browser and the banner will ask you again.

How to turn cookies off
You control this and not us. Every browser lets you block or delete cookies. Look for Privacy or Site Settings in your browser menu. Blocking cookies will not stop you reading this site.
You can also use your browser’s private or incognito window. That clears everything when you close it.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count visits. Google processes that data on our behalf and Google has its own privacy policy which you can read at policies.google.com/privacy.
Analytics does not store your IP address. There used to be a setting called IP anonymisation in the older version of Analytics. The current version dropped that setting because it no longer keeps IP addresses in the first place. Google reads the IP to work out your location and then throws it away.
We do not use Analytics to follow you across other websites. We do not use the advertising or demographic features. We look at page views and country and device type and nothing more.
How to opt out of Analytics
Two ways. Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on which blocks it on every site you visit. Or block analytics cookies in your browser settings. Either one works and neither will break this site.
Advertising
We do not show ads on this site at the moment. No advertising network is running here and no ad cookies are set.
If that changes then we will update this section before the first ad appears and we will change the date at the top of this page. We will name the network and explain what it does.
Embedded Videos
Some pages include a YouTube video. We load these through youtube-nocookie.com on purpose. That version does not set a tracking cookie until you actually press play.
Once you press play YouTube and Google can collect data about you in the same way they would if you were watching on YouTube itself. That part is out of our hands. If you do not want that then do not press play and read the text instead. Nothing on our pages is hidden behind a video.
Links to Other Sites
We link out to Google Play and the App Store and to official KRAFTON pages. Once you tap one of those links you are on their site and their privacy policy applies and not ours.
We check our outbound links but we do not control what those companies do with your data. Read their policies if that matters to you.
Children’s Privacy
This site is written for a general audience. It is not aimed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from a child under 13.
We know that mobile game guides get read by young people. So we have built the site so there is nothing for a child to type in. There is no sign-up and no account and no form and no comment box.
We will be straight about the limit of that. A visitor cannot hand us a name or an email but the analytics cookie and the IP address still get collected the same way they are for everyone. United States children’s privacy law treats those identifiers as personal information. So saying the site collects nothing from a child would not be true and we are not going to say it. What we can say is that we do not use any of it to build a profile and we do not use it for advertising and we never will while the site has no ads.
If you are a parent or a guardian and you believe we hold information about your child then email admin@pubglightapk.online. We will delete it and confirm to you that it is gone.
We may have to ask you one or two questions first. That is not us being difficult. The law expects us to take reasonable steps to check that the person asking really is the parent before we act. Otherwise anyone could email us about anyone. We keep it as light as we can and we will not ask you for a document.
If you are under 13 then please do not email us your name or your address. You do not need to. Everything on this site is free to read without telling us anything.
Where Your Data Goes
The internet does not stop at borders and neither does this. Some of the companies we use are based in the United States and your data may be handled on servers outside your own country.
The two that matter are Google for Analytics and YouTube for embedded video. Both are covered by the European Union and United States Data Privacy Framework which is the arrangement the European Commission approved for sending personal data to certified American companies. Google is certified under it. Where that framework does not apply Google uses the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses instead.
Our hosting company may also hold server logs outside your country depending on which data centre serves your region.
If you would rather none of your data left your own country then the honest answer is to block analytics cookies in your browser and not press play on any video. That leaves nothing for us to send anywhere.

We do not keep anything longer than we need it. If you ask us to delete your email earlier than the times above then we will.
Your Rights
You have rights over your data no matter where you live. Some laws spell them out more clearly than others.

- Ask us to stop using it
- Complain to us and get a real answer
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom
GDPR gives you the rights above plus the right to receive your data in a portable form and the right to object to how we use it. You can also complain to your national data protection authority if you are not happy with our answer.
If you are in California
California law gives you the right to know what is collected and the right to have it deleted and the right not to be treated worse for asking. It also gives you the right to opt out of two separate things. One is the sale of your personal information. The other is sharing it for advertising that follows you across other sites.
We do not sell your personal information and we never have. We do not share it for cross-site advertising either because this site currently shows no ads. If we ever add ads then we will rewrite this paragraph and add a clear opt out link before the first ad loads.
How to use any of these rights
Email admin@pubglightapk.online and tell us what you want. There is no form to fill in.
We reply within 30 days and usually much faster. We will not charge you and we will not ask you to explain why. One honest limit is worth knowing though. Because we do not collect names or emails from readers we often have no way to find “your” data in our analytics. There is nothing in there tied to you personally. In that case we will tell you so plainly instead of pretending to search.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS so the connection between your browser and our server is encrypted. Our software and plugins are kept updated.
We will be straight with you about the limits. We are a small independent site and not a bank. No website can promise perfect security. What we can promise is that we hold almost nothing worth stealing. There are no passwords and no card numbers and no customer database here.
If you find a security problem on this site then please email us before posting it publicly. We will fix it and we will thank you.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this page when the site changes. The date at the top always shows the last update.
If we make a change that actually affects you then we will say so at the top of this page rather than quietly editing a line. Adding an ad network counts as that kind of change and so does adding any form that asks for your details.
We will not make a change retroactive. Anything new applies from the date it is published.
