This page explains three things. It explains how to send us a takedown notice. It explains what we do after we get one. It also explains how to answer if your own content was removed by mistake.
Who We Are
Pubg Light Apk is an independent fan site at pubglightapk.online. We publish news and guides about PUBG MOBILE LIGHT and related mobile games.
We are not connected with KRAFTON or Level Infinite or Lightspeed Studios or Tencent in any way. We do not own PUBG MOBILE or PUBG MOBILE LIGHT. Those games and their names and their logos belong to their owners. We use them to talk about the games and nothing more.
Almost everything on this site is written by us. Where we use something that belongs to someone else we try to credit it and link to the source. If we got that wrong somewhere then tell us and we will fix it.
Designated Agent for Copyright Notices
Send all copyright notices to the address below. Do not send them through our social accounts or through blog comments. Those are not monitored for legal notices and your notice may sit unread.
Designated agent for copyright claims
Site: Pubg Light Apk
Website: pubglightapk.online
Email: admin@pubglightapk.online
Subject line to use: DMCA Takedown Notice
Preferred method: Email. We answer email faster than anything else.
How to Send a Takedown Notice
The process is simple. You do not need a lawyer and you do not need to pay anyone.
- Write an email to admin@pubglightapk.online.
- Put
DMCA Takedown Noticein the subject line so it gets seen quickly. - Include everything from the list in the next section.
- Send it. You will get a reply confirming we received it.
Give us the exact page address and point to the exact thing you want removed. A notice that says only “your site uses my content” gives us nothing to act on. We will have to write back and ask and that wastes days for both of us.
What Your Notice Must Include
United States copyright law sets out six things a takedown notice needs. These come from Section 512 of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Copy the list below into your email and answer each point.
| Point | What to give us |
|---|---|
| 1. Your signature | Your full legal name typed at the end of the email counts as an electronic signature. |
| 2. The work you own | Describe your original work and link to it if it is online. If many works are involved then a representative list of them is enough. You do not have to list every single one. |
| 3. The material on our site | Give the full page address on pubglightapk.online and say exactly which part is yours. Name the image or the paragraph or the file. |
| 4. How we reach you | The law asks for an address and a phone number and an email address where one exists. In practice your name and a working email are enough for us to act. |
| 5. A good faith statement | Say that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by you or the law. |
| 6. An accuracy statement and a perjury statement | Say that the information in your notice is accurate. Then say under penalty of perjury that you are the copyright owner or that you are allowed to act for the owner. The penalty of perjury part applies to the authority point. |
If your notice is not perfect
Do not let the list above stop you from writing to us. The law has a substantial compliance rule. If your notice clearly identifies your work and the material on our site and gives us a way to reach you then we will contact you and help you complete it rather than throwing it out. We would rather fix a notice than ignore one.
Wording you can copy
If you want a ready sentence for points five and six then use this. It follows the split in the law where the perjury statement covers your authority to act:
“I have a good faith belief that the use of the material described above is not authorised by the copyright owner or its agent or the law. The information in this notice is accurate. I state under penalty of perjury that I am the copyright owner or am authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”
What Happens After We Get Your Notice
Here is our normal process and our normal timing.
| Step | What we do | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| 1. We confirm | We reply to say your notice arrived. | Within 2 business days |
| 2. We review | We check the page and match it against your claim. | Within 5 business days |
| 3. We act | Valid material is removed or disabled. We do not wait for a court order. | Same day as the review |
| 4. We tell you | We email you to confirm what was removed. | Same day as the removal |
| 5. We keep a record | We log the notice and the action for our repeat infringer policy. | Ongoing |
Sometimes we will write back before removing anything. That usually means the claim is unclear or the material looks like fair use or the material may belong to a third party rather than to us. We are not trying to stall you. We just want to remove the right thing.
If the material was supplied to us by someone else such as a guest writer then we tell that person what happened and we give them a copy of your notice. That is how they get their chance to reply. This site has no public comments and no user uploads so in practice almost every notice is about something we published ourselves.
If Your Content Was Removed by Mistake
Mistakes happen. If we removed something of yours and you believe the claim was wrong then you can send a counter-notice.
A counter-notice needs five things:
- Your signature. Your typed full name works.
- The material that was removed and the page address where it used to be.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or through misidentification.
- Your name and your address and your phone number and your email.
- A statement about which court can hear the dispute. If your address is in the United States then it is the Federal District Court for the district your address is in. If your address is outside the United States then it is any judicial district where our service provider can be found. You also have to say you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Send it to the same email address with DMCA Counter-Notice in the subject line.
Once we receive a valid counter-notice we forward it to the person who filed the original complaint and we tell them the material goes back up in ten business days. If they do not tell us in that time that they have filed a court action to stop you then we put the material back. We restore it not less than ten and not later than fourteen business days after your counter-notice. This is not a favour and we do not get to choose. The law sets that window.
Repeat Infringers
We keep a record of every takedown notice we accept and of what we did about it.
This site does not have public comments and it does not let visitors upload anything. So there are no reader accounts for us to close. Where a guest writer or any outside contributor has material removed more than once we stop publishing their work and we remove their existing posts. We do not need a court to tell us to do this.
We keep the record because a site that ignores repeat complaints loses the legal protection the law gives it. It is also just the right way to run a site.
APK Files and Game Content
This section matters most on a site like ours so we are being direct about it.
What we do with download links
Our policy is to send you to the official source. That means Google Play or the App Store or a download published by KRAFTON on its own website. We link the real file rather than keeping a copy of it.
On any page with a download we name the version and we publish a checksum so you can confirm the file you are holding matches the one the page describes.
If you are the rights holder of a game file
If you represent KRAFTON or Level Infinite or Lightspeed Studios or Tencent or any other rights holder and you want a file or a link removed then email admin@pubglightapk.online.
You do not need to file a formal DMCA notice with us for game files or for a download link. Ask and it comes down. We will not argue about fair use and we will not ask you to prove ownership of your own game. A short email from a company address is enough and we will act on it the same day where we can.
We would rather lose a page than have a dispute with a studio we write about every week.
What we will not host
We do not host and we will not host any of these:
- Modified or cracked or repackaged game clients
- Files that claim to give unlimited in-game currency or free paid items
- Cheats and aimbots and any tool that changes how the game behaves
- Anything that asks a visitor to turn off Google Play Protect
- Paid content unlocked without payment
These break the game rules and they get player accounts banned. They also have no place on a site that tells readers how to avoid fake files.
Screenshots and images from the game
Screenshots and small images of game content are used here to report on and describe the games. We believe this is fair use under United States copyright law. That belief does not mean we will fight you over it. If a rights holder asks us to remove an image then we remove it.
Trademarks
PUBG and PUBG MOBILE and PUBG MOBILE LIGHT and BGMI are trademarks of their owners. KRAFTON and Level Infinite and Lightspeed Studios are named on this site only to describe the games we write about.
We use these names because there is no other way to talk about the products. We do not claim to own any of them. We do not claim any partnership or endorsement or approval from any of these companies. Every page that mentions them carries a notice saying we are an independent fan site.
We are not asserting that our use is beyond question. If you own one of these trademarks and you believe our use confuses people then email us and explain the problem. We will change the wording or remove the page. That includes wording in a page title or in a domain name.
A Word on False Claims
A DMCA notice is a legal statement. Section 512(f) of the same law makes a person liable for damages if they knowingly and materially misrepresent that material is infringing. That can cover costs and legal fees. It works the same way against a false counter-notice.
Two honest points about that. Courts read “knowingly” as real subjective knowledge and not as carelessness so these claims rarely succeed. The damages also have to follow from us relying on the notice and taking the material down. So if we refuse to remove something then nobody has a claim under this section.
We still say it for a reason. Takedown notices are sometimes used to remove an honest review or to push down a competitor’s page. That is not what the process is for. We will ask questions about a notice that looks like it is being used that way and we will keep a record of it.
Everything else gets handled quickly and without a fuss.
